A Therapist Who Sees Your Strengths First
I believe that every person has profound strengths, even when life’s challenges make them hard to see.
In a world that often focuses on deficits, my work as a therapist centers on uncovering and developing the resilience, wisdom, and self-compassion that already exist within you.
Lived Experience That Informs My Work
Therapy is more than theory—our lived experiences shape how we see the world. My journey into this field was influenced by personal experiences that helps me connect deeply with my clients:
Parenting LGBTQIA+ children – I understand the unique joys and challenges that come with supporting and affirming a loved one’s identity.
Walking the path of aging with my elderly parents – I’ve navigated the emotional complexities of shifting family roles and caregiving.
Changing careers later in life – I know what it’s like to start over, rediscover purpose, and embrace new possibilities at any age.
These experiences, combined with my clinical training, allow me to bring both deep empathy and practical insight into my work with clients.
